Collection: Deep water slow pitch jigs

These deep jigs were selected for water deeper than 200 foot, or in conditions of heavier current or wind that increase drift speeds. Heavier jig weight along with a more streamlined profile allow for the jig to descend more rapidly, as well as pull scope out of your line while staying tight to it jigging, keeping you vertical above the jig. Out of inlets with more current here on the East coat of Florida like Fort Pierce or Sebastian inlet, it is not uncommon to use 300g jigs in 200 foot of water. It all depends on the scenario.
